Healthy Chocolate Peanut Protein Ball Recipe

by Christina Almeida

These protein balls are made with a vegan Performance Protein powder geared towards fitness and weight loss, making them perfect for guilt-free snacking.

Super quick and easy to make, these protein balls taste like chocolatey peanut butter and superfood honey. They’re a big hit with every member of the family!

Thanks to Form Nutrition’s lean and complete Performance Protein, these protein balls are also a great tool for managing cravings while on a weight loss diet. Chocolate, peanut butter, and honey combine for a rich flavor that is sure to win over even the pickiest of food connoisseurs.

You can easily make these protein balls ahead of time; waiting awhile allows the honey to sink in, amping up the flavor. Keep these in the refrigerator for up to 1 week… or make as a desert for your next dinner party or get-together. Guests, family, whomever, will certainly appreciate how much these satisfy the appetite and how guilt-free asking for seconds is!

Here’s what you’ll need:

2 scoops Form Nutrition chocolate peanut Performance Protein Powder

2 tbsp B. Powered Superfood Honey

½ cup dark chocolate chips

1 cup old-fashioned oats

⅔ cup almond or peanut butter

To get started, make sure you have a mixing bowl, the necessary measuring cups and spoons, and somewhere to chill the mixture (a refrigerator). This recipe comes together quickly and only takes 30 – 45 minutes (depending on how long you choose to refrigerate your mixture)!

How to Make Healthy Protein Balls

  1. Gather your ingredients.
  2. Mix all of your ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Refrigerate your ingredients for 15 – 30 minutes.
  4. Form mixture into bite-size balls.
  5. Eat right away, serve at your next dinner party, or refrigerate safely for up to 1 week and enjoy as you please!

Yes, this recipe is really that easy! Please note: if you are finding that the mixture is hard to form into bite-sized balls, use discretion and add more honey or almond/peanut butter (use almond/peanut butter if you’re on a diet).
